This project required us to use art. I began by getting a white squared sheet of paper and flooded it into four small squares. Then I drew a design in only one of the squares. The design needed to have geometric and organic shapes, a symbol that represented us, and our name. Once I was done with my design I copied it onto the rest of the squares in the paper by putting it over a light source and tracing the design onto the rest of the squares. When this image was finished I traced it onto a new white squared sheet of paper by using the light source to get rid of the lines and dirtiness. After the new clean image was done I went into the darkroom and used a test strip to find out the light exposure time needed. Once I figured it out I got a photo paper and put the glossy part facing the light and then the image up-side-down where the drawn image was touching the glossy part of the paper. I did the exposure for 5 seconds 5 times. Then I put the photo paper into the developing process which is the developer, stop bath, fixer, and water. Then I just let it dry. Once it was dry I scanned it into the computer and then opened it in Photoshop and used the brush and pencil tool to color it.
