Directional Lines
For this two pictures which represent directional lines I took of photo of lines that we see everyday that lead or point at something. The first one was taking at the border, the yellow cones are lined up in a straight line and lead to the car at the end. The second picture was taken at Viejas Outlet and the railing of the stairs lead to the trash and kid at the bottom.
Framing
This picture was taken at Viejas Outlet. It represents framing because the wooded railing has a shape of a triangle that frames the plant and little river in it making that part of the picture stand out.
Simplicity
For simplicity I took a picture of this really big Mexican flag in Mexico. It was really high up so I used the zoom lens and it got way closer. I used this picture because the flag is the main focus and it is really close. Since it was really high up the background is the sky which has nothing to take the attention away from he flag.
Rule of Thirds
I took this picture at the zoo. Here the gorilla is placed on one third of the picture or a little more and there is more space towards the side that its pointing at.
